OneCart vs SiteGiant [2026]: Focused Marketplace Operations or a 6-in-1 Suite?
SiteGiant bundles a webstore, marketplace ERP, warehouse system, POS and loyalty app from one Malaysian vendor. OneCart focuses on running your marketplaces well and plugs into the Shopify or WooCommerce store you already have.

SiteGiant is one of the best-known ecommerce platforms in Malaysia. It started in 2013 as a webstore builder and grew into what it calls a “6-in-1 Omnichannel eCommerce Platform”: a webstore, a marketplace ERP, a warehouse management system, retail POS, a membership and loyalty app, and add-ons such as MultiChat for marketplace chats. It says more than 20,000 merchants have joined.
OneCart is focused on purpose. It runs your marketplaces, and does it in depth: stock in sync, orders processed from one screen, listings and prices managed centrally, and reports that show profit after fees. It plugs into the Shopify or WooCommerce store you already have.
The one-line verdict: if you want a webstore, a warehouse system with scanning, a POS for your physical shop and a membership app from one Malaysian vendor, SiteGiant is built for that. If you already have a store you like and want your marketplaces under control, with deeper analytics and self-serve setup, OneCart fits better.

Who SiteGiant is for
Malaysian and some Singaporean SMEs who want a webstore, marketplace sync, POS, warehouse system and loyalty app from one local vendor.
Merchants with a physical shop and online sales who want one stock pool and a membership app.
Businesses running a real warehouse floor who want WMS workflows and pick and pack SOPs.
Merchants who plan their software purchase around a subsidy campaign.
Sellers who like learning from marketplace trainers. SiteGiant’s “Trusted by eCommerce Experts” wall features Shopee, Lazada and TikTok certified trainers.
How to tell SiteGiant is too much for you
You already have a Shopify or WooCommerce store you like and do not want to rebuild it.
You do not run a physical shop or a large warehouse floor. You ship from stock at your own premises.
You would use one or two of the six products and pay for the suite.
You do not want an onboarding process. You want to connect your stores and start.
The deadline driving your decision is a subsidy window rather than a problem you need solved this month.
How to tell you are outgrowing SiteGiant
You are expanding to Amazon, eBay or UK, EU and US retailers.
You want profit after fees per SKU, shop and channel rather than operational reports.
You have adopted an ERP and need deeper integration with it.
You want a public API or an MCP connection for your own automation and AI tools.
Who OneCart is for
OneCart fits sellers who already have the pieces SiteGiant bundles, or do not need them:
A brand or established seller with a Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento store it likes, selling on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop alongside, and often on Amazon or Western marketplaces too.
Shipping from its own stock, from a few hundred orders a month to 10,000 and beyond with top-ups.
Wanting depth on the marketplaces rather than breadth across webstore, POS and loyalty.
Wanting a team that answers, not a sales process: Singapore-based support by email, chat and phone, WhatsApp from Growth, account manager on Business.
Pick OneCart if
You already have a webstore and want your marketplaces under control around it.
You want marketplace depth: real-time stock, per-channel prices, discounts and flash deals, cross-posting, Shopee and Lazada review replies, and fee reports.
You want to set up yourself, today, on a free trial.
You are Singapore-based and want local support, or you sell on Western marketplaces too.
You want to judge software on what it does for your business this month, on a free trial.
Pick SiteGiant if
You want a webstore, WMS with scanning, POS and a membership app from one vendor.
You are Malaysia-based and want a Malaysian partner on site.
You are buying with a government subsidy and want the vendor to handle that process.
A word on grants and subsidies
SiteGiant’s offers often combine free months from SiteGiant with a “Government subsidy campaign”, for example “3 months from SiteGiant and 12 months from Government subsidy campaign, subject to availability”, sometimes “Limited to 20 new signups only”. Subsidies can be a good deal. Two things are worth checking before you sign:
What you pay in year two, when the subsidy ends, and whether the plan you were put on is the one you need.
Which modules you will use after year one. Size the plan to your business, not to the subsidy.
OneCart does not sell through grants. Customers pay for OneCart because it pays for itself in hours saved and oversells prevented, and they can start, upgrade or stop on their own schedule.
Switching from SiteGiant to OneCart
The usual path is to move your webstore to Shopify or WooCommerce first, then connect it and your marketplaces to OneCart. Import listings, let OneCart match SKUs across channels, set up bundles and switch on inventory sync. Time the move outside a campaign month, or ask our team for guided onboarding and we will plan it around your calendar. Start a free trial or book a demo.
