OneCart vs Pipe17 [2026]: Which One Does Your Operation Need?

Pipe17 and OneCart both sit between your sales channels and your stock, and both get called an “order management system”. They solve different problems. Pipe17 is an integration and routing layer that decides where each order goes across warehouses, 3PLs and an ERP. OneCart is where a seller’s team does the daily work: syncing stock, processing orders, printing labels, editing listings, setting prices and reading profit.
The one-line verdict: if someone in your business has to decide which of several warehouses ships each order, and the order then has to land in NetSuite, look hard at Pipe17. If you ship from your own stock and want every marketplace under control by tonight, OneCart fits better.
The question that settles it
“Who decides which warehouse ships this order, and does it have to post to an ERP?”
One warehouse, no ERP, or Xero and QuickBooks for accounts: OneCart.
Several fulfilment partners with routing rules, plus an ERP as system of record: Pipe17.
Almost every deal we see resolves on that question.

Who Pipe17 is for
Pipe17 calls itself “The Order Operations Platform for Brands & 3PLs”, and its own pages describe the buyer well. It fits:
Brands with several fulfilment locations or partners. Own warehouse plus a 3PL, two 3PLs, FBA plus own stock, or stores that fulfil online orders. Pipe17’s routing engine “routes each one to the optimal fulfillment location” using criteria such as proximity and cost, with holds, splits and AI routing.
Businesses where an ERP is the system of record. Orders, stock, returns and settlements have to land in NetSuite, SAP or Dynamics with the ERP’s own SKU and shipping codes. Pipe17’s SKU mapping and settlement reconciliation exist for this.
Brands selling DTC plus wholesale through EDI. Pipe17 lists EDI connections to retailers including Home Depot, Walmart, Costco, Kroger, Wayfair, Target and Sephora.
3PLs and fulfilment providers. Pipe17 sells separate plans to 3PLs, with a per-customer portal, a LiveOps dashboard and white-label connectors.
Ops teams that manage exceptions, not orders. Nobody in-house prints labels because the 3PL does. The work is catching what went wrong, which is what its exception queue and Pippen agent are for.
Companies that need SOC 2 Type II, enterprise SSO and role-based access to pass an IT and procurement review.
How to tell Pipe17 is too much for you
You ship everything from one place and nobody has to decide where an order goes.
You have no ERP, or your “ERP” is Xero or QuickBooks.
Your team prints its own labels and packs its own boxes. You need an operating tool, not an orchestration layer.
You want to edit listings, run promotions and see marketplace fee and profit reports.
You want to start this week on a card. Pipe17 is a scoped engagement with a configuration fee “based on connections, flows, and scope”.
Your channels include Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop in Southeast Asia, where Pipe17’s connector focus is thinner.
How to tell you are outgrowing Pipe17
You want software to run the warehouse floor itself (bins, picking, scanning) rather than send orders to one. That is a WMS job.
You are rolling out across markets where Pipe17 has less connector coverage, such as Southeast Asia, the Gulf or Latin America.
Procurement wants one vendor for order management, warehouse management and parcel tracking. That is an enterprise suite conversation, for example with Anchanto.
Who OneCart is for
OneCart is built for the operator, not the integration team:
Sellers and brands on two or more channels who ship their own stock from one warehouse or one 3PL.
From a few hundred orders a month to 10,000 and beyond with top-ups, up to 50,000 SKUs, teams of 1 to 25.
An owner or ecommerce manager who buys the tool and uses it every day, not a project sponsor.
Wanting profit after fees per SKU, shop and channel, across Western marketplaces, Southeast Asian ones, or both.
Wanting to phone a person during a campaign, not file a ticket: Singapore-based support by email, chat and phone, WhatsApp from Growth, account manager on Business.
Pick OneCart if
One warehouse, you pack your own orders, and the pain is overselling and logging into five seller centers.
You want listings, prices, promotions, reviews and reports in the same screen as orders.
You sell on Amazon and Shopify and also on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop or Temu.
You want to start on a free trial today, with published prices and no configuration fee.
You want an AI assistant that can change stock, prices and shipments, through our MCP connection or the AI Agent tier.
Pick Pipe17 if
You route orders across several 3PLs or warehouses and need rules to decide where each one goes.
NetSuite, SAP or Dynamics is your system of record and integration accuracy is the main problem.
You sell to US retailers over EDI.
You are a 3PL onboarding brand clients onto your systems.
Pricing: published plans vs a scoped quote
Pipe17 does not publish prices. Its pricing page says “Pipe17 pricing is based on order volume, connections, flows, and sub-accounts”, with a one-time configuration fee and Developer, Solutions or Enterprise support packages. Expect a discovery call, technical scoping of every connection, a security review and a proposal before you see a number. Sub-accounts are a billed unit, so a 3PL’s cost grows with its client list.
OneCart prices are on the pricing page: Starter $99 a month, Trader $239 a month, Growth $499 a month billed annually, Business $868 a month billed annually. Every plan connects as many stores as you like, with no revenue share and no configuration fee, and you can try it free for 14 days without a card.
Where Celigo and Boomi fit
Pipe17 often competes with integration platforms, so it helps to see the full spectrum, from “build anything” to “run the daily work”:
Prebuilt “integration apps” such as Shopify to NetSuite, then custom flows
Prebuilt flows on one commerce data model, configured by ops staff
Order logic
You write routing, holds and splits yourself
Template settings, then custom flows
Routing, holds, splits and bundles as product features
Visibility
Integration run logs
Integration run logs and errors
Order-level views and an exception queue
Typical buyer
IT, across many domains
Finance or IT, often with a NetSuite partner
Operations leadership
A simple rule: Shopify plus Amazon plus NetSuite, owned by finance, with CRM integrations coming later, points to Celigo. Several 3PLs, marketplaces beyond Amazon, EDI and returns, owned by ops, points to Pipe17. Many integrations across HR, finance and CRM with an in-house integration team points to Boomi or Workato.
And where OneCart sits: if what you actually need is stock in sync across marketplaces and one screen to process orders, none of the three is the shortest path. A seller workbench does that out of the box, without anyone building or mapping flows.
Switching from Pipe17 to OneCart (or adding OneCart alongside)
Most sellers who come to us from an orchestration layer have simplified: they brought fulfilment in-house or down to one 3PL and no longer need routing rules. Moving is quick. Connect each marketplace and store, import listings, let OneCart match SKUs across channels (a Missing SKUs report shows anything left), then switch on inventory sync. Our team also runs guided onboarding if you would rather hand it over. Start a free trial or book a demo and we will map your setup on the call.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pipe17 an OMS or an iPaaS?
Both, in a commerce-only form. It combines managed connectivity (300+ connectors, a unified API and EDI) with order management features such as routing, holds, splits, returns and order promising. Pipe17 runs its own comparison pages against iPaaS tools and legacy OMS software, which tells you who it sees as the alternative.
How much does Pipe17 cost?
Pipe17 does not publish prices. Pricing depends on order volume, connections, flows and sub-accounts, plus a one-time configuration fee and a support package.
What if I use one 3PL?
That is a common OneCart setup. OneCart keeps stock and orders right across every channel and hands orders to your 3PL. If several fulfilment partners and routing rules become the heart of your operation, that is the point to look at Pipe17.
Does Pipe17 manage marketplace listings?
Pipe17 syncs product data and maps SKUs between systems. It is not designed as a listing editor for cross-posting, per-channel pricing or marketplace promotions, which are core OneCart features.
Which is faster to set up?
OneCart: same day for most sellers, on a free trial. Pipe17 says “live in weeks”, after a scoping and proposal process.
