About the Role
We are seeking a Sales & Partnerships Lead to own both halves of our commercial engine — closing direct deals and building a partner network that drives referral revenue. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual contributor role is perfect for someone who has actually done both — a senior operator who can run their own pipeline, close mid-market deals, and develop the partner relationships that compound growth. This means your KPI is New ARR Closed, both direct and partner-sourced.

- Hit collaborative KPIs on both direct closes and partner-driven pipeline
- Operate with the discipline of a planner and the receipts of a closer
What Your Days Will Look Like
Direct Sales
- Run demos of OneCart to prospects sourced by our SDR and inbound channels
- Close mid-market deals across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Shopify sellers
- Own your pipeline end-to-end: qualification, proposal, negotiation, close
- Maintain CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy
Partnership Development
- Identify and develop strategic partners — 3PLs, ecommerce agencies, marketplace category managers, complementary SaaS
- Propose deal structures (referral, reseller, co-sell) that work for both sides
- Build partner enablement — playbooks, pitch materials, joint account mapping
- Drive co-sell motions and convert partner-sourced leads yourself
Platform Expertise
- Master OneCart deeply enough to demo it, explain it, and handle objections live
- Stay current with product updates and how they change the sales story
- Communicate technical capability to non-technical merchants
What We Need From You
- 4-8 years B2B SaaS or mid-market sales experience
- Track record of closing mid-market deals (SGD 5K-50K ACV) — not just running enterprise-scale processes
- Demonstrated partnership experience — you have personally built at least one partnership program or channel that generated measurable revenue
- Comfortable doing both halves of this role yourself, without hiring a team
- Self-starter mentality — this is a hands-on role where you will do the work yourself
- Strong commercial instinct — you can explain why a partner says yes in revenue terms, not fluff
- Singapore-based and comfortable in-person in CBD
- AI-native mindset — you use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) daily to work faster and smarter

Compensation
- Base salary at the top end of the mid-market sales range
- Direct-deal commission with no cap, above a monthly hurdle
- Partnership-sourced deal override — partnership deals pay materially more than cold-prospected deals, so your highest-earning activity is partner development
- Partner signing bonus for strategic partnerships that meet our criteria
- Significant upside for strong performers; realistic OTE reflects senior operator expectations
Important Notes
- This is NOT a management role — you will be responsible for executing sales AND partnerships yourself
- This is NOT a pure closer role — partnership development is equal weight, not a side project
- This is NOT a pure partnerships role — you must close deals directly from your own pipeline
- KPIs will be set collaboratively and you will be accountable for meeting them
- Industry expertise in ecommerce is a plus but not required — passion for helping merchants succeed online is essential
