How to Connect WooCommerce and QuickBooks with OneCart

WooCommerce gives you a self-hosted store on WordPress, and every sale it takes needs to reach your accounts. OneCart connects WooCommerce to QuickBooks so orders flow through automatically as invoices, and your marketplaces feed the same books from one dashboard, instead of exporting spreadsheets at month-end.

Orders to invoices

Each WooCommerce order is written to QuickBooks as an invoice with its line items, customer, and totals, so the sales on your own site are recorded without copying anything across.

Customers

Customer details from your WooCommerce orders are added to QuickBooks, so your contacts stay current with who is buying.

Hands-off books

Once your income account and tax handling are mapped, new orders flow to QuickBooks on their own, so you are not exporting spreadsheets at month-end.

Connect WooCommerce and QuickBooks in three steps

STEP 1

Connect WooCommerce with REST API keys. In your WordPress backend go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API and click Add Key. Set the Description to OneCart, pick an admin user, set Permissions to Read/Write, and click Generate API key. Save the API Key, API Secret, and your site URL, and make sure the Legacy API is enabled. If you run a firewall such as Cloudflare, whitelist the OneCart app first, then add the store at app.getonecart.com/shops/new?platform=WooCommerce.

STEP 2

Connect QuickBooks: open the accounting integration settings in OneCart and choose QuickBooks. You are taken to QuickBooks to approve OneCart's access and pick the company you want to sync to, then returned to OneCart.

STEP 3

Set how orders map to QuickBooks once, choosing the income account and tax handling, and OneCart writes each WooCommerce order to QuickBooks as an invoice from then on, so your sales are recorded without manual entry.

AUTOMATED ACCOUNTING SYNC

OneCart writes your WooCommerce orders straight into QuickBooks, and does the same for every other channel you connect, so your own site and your marketplaces share one set of books.

Turn WooCommerce orders into QuickBooks invoices automatically

Each order becomes a QuickBooks invoice with its line items, customer, and totals, so the sales on your own site are in your books without copying anything across.

Keep your own site and your marketplaces in one set of books

Add marketplaces like Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, or TikTok Shop to the same OneCart account and their orders feed QuickBooks too, so everything lands in one accounting view.
