Preparing for a Big Sale: Your 11.11 Peak Readiness Checklist

Peak sale days like 11.11, 12.12 and Black Friday bring a rush of orders in a very short window. That is good news, as long as your stock, listings, prices and order flow are ready for it. This checklist walks you through what to set up before the sale, what to watch during it, and how to tidy up after. Each step links to the detailed guide for that task.

Work through it in the weeks before the event and you will avoid the three things that go wrong most often on a big day: overselling stock you do not have, running out of your best sellers, and a pile-up of orders you cannot pack fast enough.

3 to 4 weeks before: get your stock right

Forecast what you will need. Use the Simple Stock Planner to see the last three months of sales per SKU and spot which items are at risk of running out. For a fuller restock view, follow how to plan repurchasing with the low stock planner. Then check where to find products low in stock so nothing slips through.

Confirm inventory sync is on and healthy. A peak day is the worst time to discover a sync problem. Make sure sync is switched on for the SKUs you are promoting, and if anything looks off, work through why is my inventory not syncing now rather than on the day.

Check your shop connections are not about to expire. An expired Shopee or Lazada token in the middle of 11.11 will stop orders and sync. Review managing expiring shop connections in OneCart and refresh anything close to expiry.

1 to 2 weeks before: listings and pricing

Make sure every product you want to sell is actually listed. Find gaps and fix them fast with how to find and quickly publish missing SKUs on your marketplaces, and use bulk cross-posting to get the same catalogue live across all your channels.

Set your promo prices ahead of time. Prepare your sale pricing in one place with creating bulk discounts in OneCart, so you are not editing prices by hand under pressure.

Set up your Shopee campaign deals. If you are joining a Shopee flash sale, follow the Shopee flash sale workflow so your deal stock and prices are correct before the campaign locks.

During the sale: handle the order surge

Process orders in batches. Use processing daily orders by marketplace or by brand to work through large volumes in an organised way, and filter order processing by order numbers when you need to pull a specific set.

Print fast. Get your labels out quickly with how to print airway bill (AWB) in OneCart, then update fulfilment in bulk using bulk updating order status to shipped and delivered.

Let cancellations return stock automatically. Turn on auto put-back for cancelled orders so that when a buyer cancels, the stock goes back on sale without you touching it. Peak days produce more cancellations than usual, and this keeps your available quantity accurate.

Keep oversells from happening

Two settings decide whether you sell stock you do not have:

You can also lean on daily automations in OneCart to keep quantities and statuses pushed out across your shops through the busy period.

After the sale: review and restock
