How to Update Listing Images on Platforms from OneCart

Push product images from OneCart to your connected marketplace listings on Shopee, TikTok, Lazada, and Shopify — all from one place.

OneCart lets you update listing images on your connected marketplace platforms directly from the product page. Instead of logging into each Seller Centre individually, you can push your product images to Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, and Shopify in just a few clicks.

This is useful when you:

  • Have updated product photos and want all platforms to reflect the change
  • Want to ensure consistent images across all your marketplace listings
  • Need to replace images on multiple platforms at once

Prerequisites

Before you can push images to platforms:

  1. Your product must have images uploaded in OneCart — see How to Add and Manage Product Images if you haven’t done this yet
  2. Your product must have linked listings on at least one supported platform (Shopee, TikTok, Lazada, or Shopify)

How to Push Images to Platforms

Step 1: Open the Product Page

Go to Inventory > View Inventory > View/Edit Parent Products.

Find the product you want to update and click on it to open the product detail page.

Step 2: Click “Update Platform Images”

On the product page, you will see a green Update Platform Images button below the product images. Click it to open the platform selection modal.

Step 3: Select Which Listings to Update

The modal displays a table of all your linked listings for this product. For each listing you can see:

  • Platform — shown with a badge (e.g., Shopee, TikTok, Lazada, Shopify)
  • Shop name — which store the listing belongs to
  • Listing title — the title of the listing on that platform
  • Status — whether the listing is linked

Use the checkboxes to select which listings you want to update. You can use the Select All checkbox at the top to select all listings at once.

Step 4: Confirm and Push

Click the Push Images button to push your OneCart product images to the selected listings. OneCart will queue the image update for each selected listing.

You will receive a notification once each update completes, confirming whether the images were successfully updated on each platform.

How It Works Behind the Scenes

When you push images from OneCart:

  1. OneCart takes the images stored on your product (in the order you set)
  2. Each image is resized to 1200 x 1200 pixels for optimal marketplace display
  3. The images are uploaded to the selected platform’s servers using their API
  4. The listing is updated with the new image set

Important: Pushing images replaces all existing images on the listing with your OneCart images. Make sure your OneCart product has the complete set of images you want before pushing.


Tips for Best Results

  • Image order matters — the first image on your OneCart product becomes the main/cover image on the platform. Drag and drop to reorder before pushing.
  • Use high-quality images — OneCart resizes to 1200x1200, so start with images at least that size for best clarity.
  • Check platform requirements — some platforms have specific image guidelines (e.g., minimum size, no watermarks). Make sure your images comply before pushing.
  • Push to multiple platforms at once — select listings across different platforms in the same update to save time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will updating images on OneCart automatically sync to all platforms?

No — image updates are not automatic. You need to manually click Update Platform Images and select which listings to update. This gives you control over when and where image changes are applied.

Can I update images for just one platform and not others?

Yes. In the platform selection modal, simply check only the listings you want to update. You can push to Shopee without affecting your Lazada or TikTok listings.

What if I only want to change one image, not all of them?

Currently, the image push sends all images from your OneCart product to the selected platform. It replaces the full image set on the listing. If you only want to change one image on a specific platform, you may need to update it directly in that platform’s Seller Centre.

I updated images but they haven’t appeared on the platform yet?

Image updates are processed as a background job. It may take a few minutes for the changes to appear. Check your notifications in OneCart for the update status. If it shows an error, verify that:

  • Your platform connection is active and not expired
  • The listing still exists on the platform
  • Your images meet the platform’s requirements
