Fixed IP Addresses for Platform Access

When do you need a fixed IP?

By default, OneCart connects to your stores using shared cloud infrastructure. This works for most platforms, but some require you to whitelist a specific IP address before they allow API access. Common scenarios:

• iShopChangi and other platforms that require IP whitelisting before granting API access
• Cloudflare-protected stores where you want to whitelist OneCart’s IP instead of creating a WAF bypass rule (see Handling Cloudflare Blocks)
• Enterprise or custom platforms with strict firewall rules that only allow traffic from known IP addresses
• Private or on-premise storefronts that restrict inbound connections by IP

If your platform or IT team asks you to provide a fixed IP address for OneCart, this add-on is what you need.

How it works

When you request a fixed IP, we provision a dedicated static IP address that is assigned exclusively to your shop in OneCart. All API traffic between OneCart and that shop will originate from this IP.

You then provide this IP address to the platform or your IT team so they can add it to their whitelist. Once whitelisted, OneCart can sync orders, inventory, and listings without being blocked.

Key points:

• Each fixed IP is assigned to one shop. If you have multiple shops that each require whitelisting, each one needs its own fixed IP.
• The IP address does not change. Once provisioned, it stays the same for as long as the add-on is active.
• If you cancel the add-on, the IP is released and traffic for that shop reverts to OneCart’s shared infrastructure.

Pricing

A fixed IP address costs USD $50 per month per shop, which includes:

• 250,000 requests per month
• 50 GB bandwidth per month

This is billed as a recurring monthly add-on on top of your OneCart subscription.

How to request a fixed IP

1. Email us at hello@lachmann-tech.com with:
   • Your OneCart account email
   • The shop name in OneCart that needs the fixed IP
   • The platform that requires whitelisting (e.g. iShopChangi, Cloudflare, or other)
2. We will provision the IP and reply with the address, usually within 1 business day.
3. Add the IP to your platform’s whitelist or provide it to your IT team.
4. Once whitelisted, your shop will sync normally through the dedicated IP.

After setup

Once your fixed IP is active and whitelisted on the platform side:

• Orders, inventory, and listings will sync through the dedicated IP
• If the shop was previously deactivated due to connection blocks, you will need to reactivate it
• You can verify everything is working by checking the sync status on your Shops page

FAQ

Can I use one fixed IP for multiple shops? No. Each fixed IP is assigned to a single shop. If you have multiple shops that require IP whitelisting, each needs its own dedicated IP.

What happens if I cancel? The dedicated IP is released, and traffic for that shop goes back to OneCart’s shared infrastructure. If the platform still requires a whitelisted IP, syncing will stop until you either re-add the add-on or configure an alternative (such as a Cloudflare WAF bypass rule).

Do I need a fixed IP for Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, or Amazon? No. These platforms authenticate via OAuth tokens and do not require IP whitelisting. A fixed IP is only needed when a platform explicitly asks you to whitelist an IP address.

Do I need a fixed IP for Shopify or WooCommerce? Typically no. Shopify uses OAuth and does not require IP whitelisting. WooCommerce usually does not either, unless your hosting provider or Cloudflare setup blocks OneCart. For Cloudflare-specific issues, see Handling Cloudflare Blocks.
