Daily Automations in OneCart

OneCart’s Daily Automations run overnight (between 2-5 AM) to keep your listings synchronized across all platforms. These automations save you time by handling repetitive tasks automatically.

Accessing Daily Automations

Navigate to Automations from the main menu, then select the Daily Automations tab.

Available Daily Automations

1. Auto-Create Products from Shops

Runs daily at 2:00 AM

When enabled, OneCart automatically creates new SKUs in your Item Master from listings found on your connected platforms.

How it works:

• Scans your platform listings for products that don’t exist in OneCart
• Creates new SKUs using the product information from the platform
• Only creates SKUs that have a valid Seller SKU on the platform

Best for:

• Sellers who manage products directly on platforms and want them synced to OneCart
• Keeping your Item Master up-to-date when you add new products on marketplaces

Important notes:

• Duplicate SKUs (those already in OneCart) are skipped
• Bundles are created as normal SKUs and must be manually converted
• Products without a Seller SKU field are skipped

2. Import Listings Daily

Runs daily at 3:00 AM

Automatically fetches the latest listings from your connected platforms and brings them into OneCart’s import queue.

How it works:

• Connects to each enabled shop and retrieves listing data
• Updates existing listings with any changes made on the platform
• Adds new listings to the import queue for matching

Best for:

• Keeping your OneCart listings current with platform changes
• Ensuring new products added on platforms appear in OneCart

3. Match Listings Automatically

Runs daily at 4:00 AM

Automatically matches imported listings to your Item Master SKUs based on matching Seller SKU codes.

How it works:

• Scans unmatched listings in your import queue
• Compares Seller SKU on platform listings with SKU codes in your Item Master
• Automatically links matches so inventory sync can begin

Best for:

• Sellers who use consistent SKU codes across platforms
• Reducing manual matching work after importing listings

Important notes:

• Only works when platform Seller SKU exactly matches OneCart SKU
• Listings with different SKU codes must be matched manually

4. Refresh & Rematch Daily

Runs daily at 5:00 AM (Supported platforms: Lazada, Shopee, Shopify)

Re-fetches listing data from platforms and re-runs the matching process to catch any changes or new matches.

How it works:

• Refreshes listing data from the platform API
• Re-attempts matching for any unmatched listings
• Updates existing matched listings with latest platform data

Best for:

• Ensuring listings stay synchronized after platform changes
• Catching matches that may have been missed initially
• Keeping listing data (titles, prices, etc.) current

Configuring Daily Automations

Per-Shop Configuration

Each automation can be enabled or disabled per shop, giving you granular control:

1. Go to Automations > Daily Automations
2. Click Configure Shops next to any automation
3. Toggle individual shops on or off
4. Changes are saved automatically

Bulk Enable/Disable

Use the master toggle on the left side of each automation to quickly enable or disable the setting for all shops at once.

When to Use Daily Automations

Troubleshooting

Listings not importing automatically?

• Check that the shop has Import Listings enabled
• Verify the platform connection hasn’t expired
• Try a manual import to test connectivity

Auto-matching not working?

• Ensure your platform Seller SKU exactly matches the OneCart SKU
• Check for extra spaces or different capitalization

Products not being created automatically?

• Verify the listing has a Seller SKU field populated
• Check that the SKU doesn’t already exist in OneCart
• Bundles require manual creation after initial import
